Once in a while photos of protests/clashes with police end up beautifully encapsulating the overall situation in one way or another. Not only does it work on the very obvious level, but if you have heard of the utter lies presented as “possible activities” at the DNC and RNC 4 years ago, waterguns filled with urine, bleach, hydrochloric acid, etc… were on the list. As was, of course… releasing snakes… oh, and balloons filled with hydrochloric acid. I know given my childhood experience with waterballoons I sure wouldn’t want to be the one to make, transport, or try to use those. Good thing it was all a total fucking lie made up from whole cloth by the same liar who did security for many such events.
